The values (% of total FAs) are means of three independent measurements ± SEM. n = 5. Significant difference (p < 0.05) is indicated with different superscripted letters analyzed by ANOVA, followed by Newman-Keuls test. Ratio of n-6/n-3 fatty acids is expressed as (18:2n-6 + 20:3n-6 + 20:4n-6 + 22:5n-6)/(20:5n-3 + 22:5n-3 + 22:6n-3).
