  • a Purified CD4+ T cells or γδ T cells were activated with anti-CD3 and anti-CD28 under neutral, Th1-, or Th2-priming conditions for 24 h. Cells were then infected with GATA-3-GFP, as described in Materials and Methods. Cells were sorted at day 7 and further activated with anti-CD3 and anti-CD28 in the presence of brefeldin A for 6 h for IFN-γ or IL-4 staining. The mean ± SD percentage of IFN-γ-positive cells out of corresponding GFPhigh or GFPlow cells, and the mean ± SD percentage of decrease in GFPhigh versus GFPlow cells are shown.
