  • a Mice were injected with 100 μg of mAbs. Plasma was collected 1 h after the injection of mAb to assess the functional activity of LBP, which was measured by its ability to present LPS-FITC (fluorescence units) to CHO/muCD14 cells in vitro. In the absence of plasma (albumin as a control), the binding of LPS-FITC to CD14+ target cells was 3.6 fluorescence units. Data are the mean ± SD of eight mice per group. p = 10−9 by ANOVA when all groups were compared.
