  • a Calcein-labeled splenocytes from L-selectin−/− or wild-type mice (n ≥ 6 each) were injected into individual recipient mice. After 1 or 48 h, single-cell suspensions of tissues from recipient mice were labeled with PE-conjugated mAbs against Thy1.2 or B220, and the percentage of calcein-labeled lymphocytes that were Thy1.2+ T cells or B220+ B cells was determined by two-color fluorescence cytometry. Absolute numbers of cells were then calculated from individual tissue cell counts and are expressed as means ± SEM.
