AB Mouse plasmacytoma FLOPC21 was adapted to culture in the presence of a mouse Th cell supernatant. A stable factor-dependent cell line was derived from this culture and the factor responsible for its growth was identified as granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor.
