On the cover: Inflammatory lesions in injured skeletal muscle contain large numbers of macrophages that express both F4/80 (green) and CCR2 (red). A macrophage-targeted mutation of Ppard did not diminish macrophage acquisition of an M2-biased phenotype in regenerative muscle, but did slow CCR2-mediated chemotaxis of macrophages and also slowed muscle revascularization.
