Wu, Y.-Q., H. Qu, G. Sfyroera, A. Tzekou, B. K. Kay, B. Nilsson, K. Nilsson Ekdahl, D. Ricklin, and J. D. Lambris. 2011. Protection of nonself surfaces from complement attack by factor H-binding peptides: implications for therapeutic medicine. J. Immunol. 186: 4269–4277.

Due to a typing error, the sequence of peptide 5C6 listed in Table I was incorrectly represented with an aspartic acid (D) instead of a serine (S) residue at position 9. The correct sequence of peptide 5C6 should therefore read: ASSSRCTYSHWCSH. The authors sincerely apologize for this error.
