On the cover: Silver staining of peripheral lymph nodes from Borrelia garinii-infected C3H/He mice. Along with the fine reticular architecture of the lymph node body, which appears brown in color, darker silver impregnated spirochete-like elements can be seen in the infected lymphoid tissues (as easily visualized at higher magnification on inset).
