On the cover: Panel demonstrates TUNEL analysis of TGFβ-1-induced apoptosis among cells acutely dissociated from normal lymph nodes. The cells were incubated with 40 ng/ml TGFβ-1 for 2 days. Dendritic cells (S100β+ cells) are stained red (fuchsin), while TUNEL-positive cells are stained brown (3-3'-diaminobenzidine tetrahydrochloride). The cells are apoptotic dendritic cells. Ito, M., Y.
