About the Cover

On the cover: In situ expression of MICA protein in both the small and large intestine of T3b-promoter-driven MICA transgenic mice. MICA was present on most of the small intestinal villi, while it was concentrated in tip regions of the colonic epithelium in the Tg mice. The transgenic MICA was able to attenuate the development of mucosal inflammation. Park et al. Clonal expansion of double-positive intraepithelial lymphocytes by MHC class I-related chain A expressed in mouse small intestinal epithelium. J. Immunol. 171:4131.
