  - PD-1 deficiency and blockade of CTLA-4 partially abrogates B cell-induced tolerance to EAE. EAE was actively induced in WT or anti-CTLA-4-treated PD-1-/- mice two days after transfer of B cells from WT or BMOG mice. Shown is the incidence of severe EAE disease in the different groups, as defined by hind limb paralysis (score 3 or higher). Black areas within the bars represent percentage of paralysed mice.
