Supplemental movies. Enhanced uptake of SM4s-positive apoptotic cells. Macrophages were grown on cover-slips placed in 6-well plates as described, transferred to microscope imaging chamber (Zeiss Axiovert 200M) and co-incubated with apoptotic cells in standard cell culture conditions for 2 h. Imaging of 2-h uptake process was done using AxioCam MRm camera (Plan Apochromat 63, 0/1, 40 objective lenses), acquired by AxioVision Rel 4.5 software and condensed to 24 sec movies. Apoptotic cells were stained
with SYTOX green in order to determine their localization after 2-h imaging
period. 1. Macrophage uptaking apoptotic C26 cells. 2. Phagocytosis of SM4-s positive apoptotic C26 cells.
