SDF-1 induces cellular
deformations in primary CD4+ T cells.
CD4+ T cells nucleoporated with GFP-actin were plated in HBSS buffer
supplemented with
0.5% FCS on poly-lysine-coated glass coverslips mounted on Petri dishes
(MatTek, Ashland,
MA). Acquisition of a Z-stack (1 μm sections) was performed at
37°C every 10 s during 17
min on a spinning-disk confocal microscope. SDF-1 (30 nM) was added
when indicated. A
projection image of the stack is shown.

gp120 induces cellular
deformations in primary CD4+ T cells.
GFP-actin-expressing CD4+ T cells were plated on poly-lysine-coated
glass coverslips
mounted on Petri dishes. Acquisition of a Z-stack (1 μm sections)
was performed at 37°C
every 10 s during 20 min on a spinning-disk confocal microscope. Gp120
(200 nM) was
added when indicated. A projection image of the stack is shown.
