• Movie 1 (QuickTime, 3,244 KB) - Movie 1 shows the behavior of two CFSE-loaded CD4⁺ T cells during their 30 min interaction with immature DCs. Positions of the two cells at successive 30 s intervals are represented by blue and red dots.
  
  In movies 2 to 4, [Ca²⁺]i of fura-2 loaded CD4⁺ T cells is displayed in color ranging from blue (50-100 nM) to red (600-800 nM).
  
  
• Movie 2 (QuickTime, 5,437 KB) - Movie 2 shows the induction of a motile phenotype and of small Ca²⁺ increases in one CD4⁺ T cell during its interaction with immature DCs. Red dots mark the position of the T cell at successive 8 s intervals.
  
  
• Movie 3 (QuickTime, 2,921 KB) - Movie 3 shows the induction of small and repetitive Ca²⁺ increases in one CD4⁺ T cell during its interaction with immature DCs. Red dots mark the position of the T cell at successive 8 s intervals. Note that this T cell displayed a very low motility.

• Movie 5 (QuickTime, 3,877 KB) - Movie 5 shows the adhesion of CD4⁺ T cells to immature DCs assessed with a laminar flow chamber. CD4⁺ T cells loaded with CFSE and which appear in black were allowed to interact with DCs for 7 min in the absence of flow. Shear stresses were then progressively increased as indicated in the inset. Frame intervals, 5 s.
  
  
• Movie 6 (QuickTime, 3,877 KB) - Same as in movie 6 except that DCs were pretreated with a blocking anti-ICAM-1 Ab (HA58). Note that the anti-ICAM-1 Ab strongly inhibits the adhesion between CD4+ T cells and DCs.
