In Vivo Impact of CpG1826 Oligodeoxynucleotide on CD8 T Cell Primary Responses and Survival

Laurent Beloeil, Martine Tomkowiak, Georgi Angelov, Thierry Walzer, Patrice Dubois and Jacqueline Marvel

Laurent Beloeil, Martine Tomkowiak, Georgi Angelov, Thierry Walzer, Patrice Dubois, and Jacqueline Marvel. In Vivo Impact of CpG1826 Oligodeoxynucleotide on CD8 T Cell Primary Responses and Survival. The Journal of Immunology 2003;171:2995–3002.

In Materials and Methods, in the first sentence under the heading Vaccination protocol, an extra T was added to the 5' end of the CpG1826 sequence. The correct sequence is 5'-TCC ATG ACG TTC CTG ACG TT-3'. The authors wish to underline that CpG1826 has a phosphorothioate backbone.

Also in this section, in the second sentence under the heading CFSE labeling of F5 TCR transgenic cells and adoptive transfers, there is a mistake in the CFSE concentration. For adoptive transfer, the CFSE concentration used is 7.5 µM (instead of 0.75 µM). Under the heading In vivo cytotoxic assays, in the fifth sentence, CFSE concentrations for target cells are 7.5 µM (pulsed B10) and 0.75 µM (non-pulsed B10), and in the seventh sentence when three targets are used: 7.5 µM (pulsed B10), 0.94 µM (pulsed B6-Lpr) and 0.14 µM (non-pulsed B10).
