This item has the following additional materials available:

  • PDF File - Supplemental Table 1.

  • Supplemental Table 1. KIR Genotyping Primers
20-50ng DNA was amplified in 20µl containing 200µM dNTP, 100-500nM of specific primer (see supplemental Table 1), 100nM of internal control primer, 2mM MgCl2, 67mM TRIS, 16.6mM (NH4)2SO4, and 0.5U Taq polymerase. Cycling was carried out in a 9700 thermal cycler (PE Applied Biosystems) under the following conditions: 1 min at 96°C, 5cycles of 96°C for 25 s, 65°C for 45 s, 72°C for 30 s; 21 cycles of 96°C for 25 s, 60°C for 45 s, 72°C for 30 s; 5 cycles of 96°C for 25 s, 55°C for 1 min, 72°C for 2 min, followed by a final extension step for 10 min at 72°C. PCR products were electrophoresed in 1.5% agarose gels containing ethidium bromide, and predicted size products were visualized under ultraviolet light.
