The authors have found that recent ELISA assays with sera obtained from the same patients 24 weeks later than the original blood was drawn did not show the same pattern as in Figure 6A, originally carried out by Dr. Tatsumi Arichi, a coauthor, and therefore the information in that figure may or may not be valid. In particular, the new sera from patients 4, 5, and 6 no longer appeared positive.
