The Inheritance of Hemolytic Complement Activity in CF-1 Mice1

Abstract

The presence or absence of hemolytic complement activity in CF-1 mice is determined by a single Mendelian factor. Complement deficiency occurs as a recessive character. The majority of CF-1 mice are deficient in hemolytic complement.
