Abstract
Under suitable conditions, a number of chemical agents and/or heat may be used to render insoluble either antibody molecules or specific complexes, without destroying or masking all of the native combining sites. These coagula may be used as highly specific adsorbents for native antigen and the antigen may be subsequently eluted at pH 3.0. A study of some suitable coagulating reagents and conditions has been presented.
