Abstract
In the present study the temporal relationship of acquired immune tolerance and the immune response was determined in mice injected at birth with BSA. It was found that both were finite in time and that their degree and duration were determined by the amount of BSA injected. The results also demonstrated that the acquired tolerance and the immune response that followed were due to the same antigen.
