Division of Veterinary Bacteriology and Public Health, College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Minnesota, St. Paul, Minnesota

Abstract

An incompatibility has been shown to exist between certain avian antibody-antigen complexes and C'1 of guinea pig complement. This can be remedied by the substitution of species specific C'1 after which guinea pig C'2, C'3 and C'4 are fixed.
