Abstract
Results have been presented which show that baby chicks respond with neutralizing antibodies to injections of poliovirus preparations and provide an excellent method for antigenic potency testing of such preparations. The relative merits of 1-dose and 2-dose schedules, and the merits of serum titers as opposed to antigen extinction titers have been discussed.
