Abstract
Rat-lymph node or rat-kidney homogenateswere injected into rabbits to stimulate productionof antibodies against the tissue used. The giobulinfirst obtained from the immunized rabbitswas radioiodinated and "purified " by adsorptionon and elution from rat-lymph node homogenateor rat-kidney homogenate respectively. Theresulting solution was tested in t~tro by adsorptiontests against various organ homogenates. There was more radioactivity in the precipitatesformed with rat-lymph node homogenate or with rat-kidney homogenate, respectively, than inthe precipitates formed with other organhomogenates.
The solution derived from rabbit antiratlymphnode serum contained a labeled componentwhich appeared to be specifically adsorbedby rat-lymph node homogenate. The solutionderived from rabbit antirat-kidney serum containeda labeled component which appeared to bespecifically adsorbed by rat-kidney homogenate. There were several cross-reactions.
