The Development of Resistance in Mice Immunized with Soluble Antigen Derived from Bacterium Tularense

Abstract

White mice immunized with soluble antigens obtained from B. tularense showed specific resistance to challenge within 24 hours after immunization and developed circulating, protective antibodies within 72 hours. Mice so immunized failed to develop detectable agglutinins.
