Abstract
Rabbits subjected to early immunization with bovine serum albumin failed to develop antibody to bovine serum albumin either during the initial immunization or when mature. Evidence was also obtained that formation of antibody to an unrelated antigen (egg albumin) may be affected.
The gamma globulin content of the sera of these animals was as high as or higher than the gamma globulin content of the sera of control animals in which antibody production was not affected.
