Abstract
- 1. The latent period for passive anaphylactic sensitization in the guinea pig was investigated with known amounts of rabbit antiovalbumin and was found to be a function of the amount of antibody used, when a constant amount of antigen is used which is sufficient to react completely with the antibody injected.
- 2. The proportions of antibody and antigen required for fatal shock varied at different time intervals between sensitization and shock.
