A More Accurate Method for the Statistical Evaluation of the Effects of Vaccination

Abstract

A statistical method of determining the prophylactic efficacy of vaccines is described which can be applied also to prophylactic inoculation in man. This is done by calculating and comparing the doses of living bacteria lethal for inoculated and uninoculated individuals.
