Prolonged Protection of Guinea Pigs against Histamine by Means of Pellets of Pyribenzamine¹ in Beeswax Implanted Subcutaneously in Beeswax^,2

Abstract

Subcutaneous pellets containing 500 mg of Pyribenzamine in 2.0 g of beeswax protected 13 of 14 guinea pigs against a lethal dose of histamine for 7 days and occasionally for as long as 16 days.
