The "Inhibition" of Isoagglutinin Activity by Human Plasma and Its Fractions1,2,

Abstract

The mechanism of the inhibition of isoagglutination in plasma pools was investigated. None of our evidence indicates that the phenomenon is due to a nonspecific factor. It appears that the inhibiting substances are the group-specific agglutinogens. The distribution of these substances among fractions prepared from human plasma was studied.
