Abstract
The procedures used for type b H. influenzae antibody-production are satisfactory for making type-specific antibody for the other five types. The determination of agglutinin-nitrogen for measuring type b antibody-content appears to be applicable to the other five types of H. influenzae antisera. Additional study is required to determine whether the variation in total antibody produced against the different types in comparable numbers of rabbits is due to the particular strain of types used or is related to inherent characteristics of the types.
