Abstract
- 1. Procedures for the isolation in an undergraded state have been described for the specific carbohydrates of types a and b H. influenzae.
Similar procedures were described for the isolation of the type c, d and f specific substances. Evidence that these preparations removed the maximum amount of anticarbohydrate nitrogen from homologous antisera has not yet been obtained.
- 2. Some of the chemical, physical and immunological properties of the preparations have been given.
