Abstract

1. The acute lethal toxicity of Shiga neurotoxin, tetanus toxin, botulinus toxin, ricin and Flexner paradysentery somatic antigen for mice, is materially reduced by the administration of these agents in a saline-in-mineral-oil emulsion.
2. The possible significance of this method of preparing vaccine for immunization procedures is discussed.
