The Specific Groups of Antibodies

Abstract

Rabbits were immunized to iodo-proteins, bromo-protein, caseinogen and arsanil-azoprotein. None of the antibodies contained the determinant group of the antigen or a serologically related group. This is inconsistent with Jordan's theory of antibody-formation.
