The Failure of Histaminase to Protect Guinea-Pigs Against Histamine and Anaphlyactic Shock

Abstract

1. Pretreatment with histaminase fifteen minutes before injection of guinea pigs with histamine failed to protect them against fatal shock.
2. Similarly, histaminase so given did not protect against anaphylactic shock.
