Abstract
Detailed directions are given for the preparation of a peptone and meat infusionfree medium upon which a relatively powerful (60 Lf.) diphtheric toxin may be regularly obtained with a strain of the Park 8 organism. The problem of still further improvements in this medium is under investigation in this laboratory, as is the question of toxin production by other strains of C. diphtheriae.
