Abstract
From the above experiments, I have ascertained that, in order to obtain a scarlet fever anatoxin that will produce a comparatively slight reaction and still retain sufficient antigenic power, the best material to be used is anatoxin II (0.4 per cent formalin, 40°C. for sixty days) or anatoxin III (0.4 per cent formalin, 45°C. for thirty days).
