On Immune Isoagglutinins in Rabbits

Philip Levine and K. Landsteiner

From the laboratories of the Rockefeller Institute for Medical Research, New York

Abstract

By transfusion of rabbits with blood of other rabbits, several developed immune isoagglutinins active at 37°C. Some of the observations point to the existence of a number of individual differences in the blood of rabbits in accordance with previous findings with animal and human blood (16).
