Abstract
Serially transferred LAF1 spleen cells show a deficient 7S PFC response to TNP-Brucella when Tx as compared to normal irradiated intermediate hosts are used. This defect can be corrected by combining the spleen cells with lymph node cells from the Tx intermediate hosts. It is concluded that T helper cells, residing primarily in lymph node, are needed for efficient 19S
7S conversion in the immune response.
