Crossed Immunoelectrophoresis and Electroimmunoassay of IgG1

Anders O. Grubb

From the Department of Clinical Chemistry, University of Lund, Malmö General Hospital, S-214 01 Malmö, Sweden

Abstract

Simple procedures for crossed immunoelectrophoresis and electroimmunoassay of IgG are described. It is shown how crossed immunoelectrophoresis can readily be used to demonstrate different types of IgG immune responses as well as the formation of complexes between IgG and other molecules.
