Abstract
Cross-reactions are recorded of the K polysaccharides of Klebsiella types 5, 7, 18, 20, 21, 24, and 62 and of deacetylated K5 in a number of antipneumococcal and anti-Salmonella sera. In several instances these confirm structures already established. Findings likely to emerge from further chemical study are also pointed out on the basis of previously established relations between chemical constitution and immunological specificity.
