Abstract
The injection of viable immunologically competent mouse cells under the kidney capsule of cyclophosphamide-treated rats produces a localized graft vs. host (GVH) reaction, manifested by infiltration and destruction of the kidney cortex. The reaction, shown to be a GVH reaction by cytological analysis, can be inhibited by antisera specific to the cells injected.
