1- and
2-Globulin1
From the Department of Microbiology, University of Umeå, Umeå, Sweden
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to establish which regions of guinea pig
1- and
2-globulins react with protein A from S. aureus. In each case the Fc fragment inhibited the reaction between protein A and anti-EA
1- and
2-globulin. No reactions between protein A and the Fab and F(ab')2 fragments were observed.
