Abstract

There is a wide spectrum in the susceptibility of different mouse strains to Lymphocytic choriomeningitis (LCM) virus. This is manifested by different amounts of LCM virus needed to reach an LD50 end point in adult mice of several strains, and in the concentration of infectious virus present in neonatally infected mice of these strains.
