Susceptibility of Different Mouse Strains to Lymphocytic Choriomeningitis Virus^1,2,

Abstract

There is a wide spectrum in the susceptibility of different mouse strains to Lymphocytic choriomeningitis (LCM) virus. This is manifested by different amounts of LCM virus needed to reach an LD₅₀ end point in adult mice of several strains, and in the concentration of infectious virus present in neonatally infected mice of these strains.
